Rebirth

The last was a good month for music. Kanye returned, Arcade Fire released the future of videos, and of course, we played our first shows. Bangerang.

Kanye came storming back with a minute and a half teaser for his new track Power. This teaser was basically a video 'painting' of Kanye situated amongst classical imagery of epic proportions. It got us all bare excited for his new tunes. Unfortunately, the song itself doesn't quite live-up-to-the-build-up. But he's got a good track record for making big tunes, so we wait in wonder for what's next.

Arcade Fire's new online interactive video is the shit. Type in the postcode of where you grew up and see for yourself http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/

We played our first shows, first on a boat, and then at the bowling lanes for our second. We reckon a fishmongers is a good place for the next one. But it's nice getting the tunes out there finally. And the boat gig was an epic event, followed by a ridiculous house party. And we like free bowling. Bob was the best. Cheers to anyone who's been along to see us, you're welcome anytime.

A tune we've been loving -

And everything Breton have been doing - http://www.myspace.com/bretonbretonbreton
especially their Local Natives remix - http://elbo.ws/post/2708069/local-natives-who-knows-who-cares-bretonlabs-remix/

Safe as your house.
